Review content:
The Chocolate bar as been getting a lot of hype in the Atlanta restaurant scene. After a very nice meal in another part of Atlanta my husband and I decided to give the Chocolate bar a try on our way home. Our experience that night was not at all in line with all of the hype. The decor was not as chic as advertised and the stark little cafe style tables did not encourage one to linger over dessert and a glass of wine. We were disappointed that an establishment which served so much chocolate only had one port option on the menu. What goes better than port and chocolate? The chocolate bonbons we selected ranged from OK to excellent. The service was mediocre at best. They seemed a little stretched thin that night and the stress was showing on everyone's face. All in all it was just OK, nothing really to write home about. I will probably only return to purchase chocolate boxes as gifts, but wouldn't eat in again. Just was not the welcoming experience I had hoped for.
