I had been thinking of LASIK for years now. A couple friends recently had their LASIK procedure done and were very excited about the results.
This encouraged me to start a search for the best place for LASIK in Houston. After 3 consultations with different doctors I decided on the Diagnostic Eye Center.
What I learned was that although there are cheaper options you don't necessarily want the cheapest doctor operating on your eyes; so this ruled out those $395 an eye places. Prices between Berkeley, Mann Eye, and Diagnostic Eye Center(DEC) were very similar but what set D.E.C apart was the personal service and care that the entire staff demonstrated.
From the initial consultation Marcus took care of all my questions and made sure that I understood the procedure. They always follow up before and after appointments. The technology they use is top notch and Dr Sanders ensures you are well informed of what's taking place as it happens in the operating room..
Overall great service and great results! On my second day I am already 20/10! I feel comfortable recommending them to all my friends. My wife will be having her procedure there soon.
