Beware. The last several times I've been here, I've felt ripped off.
1) Oil change specials are a complete joke. Sign says 19.99, with tire rotation...but I end up with a $46 bill. You have to remind the person behind the desk of the special (total BS) Also, I don't think that these guys are capable of performing an oil change in 30 mins...maybe an hour if you are lucky.
2) Had a low nox sensor warning light come on. I diagnosed the problem with my own PC and advised AutoMax of the issue. They said to bring truck by and they'd have a look at it. So, I drop it off, 15 mins later they call back and present a $1100 quote to me ($600 labor). I call some other shops and get a MUCH lower quote, so I pick the truck up. Before I go, they tell me that I owe them an $89 dollar diagnostics fee. These guys didn't diagnose anything, they just repeated what I told them - maybe they threw in a google search...Of course I argue the charge, making the person behind the desk VERY UPSET!
3) Changed out a fuel line and power steering hose. Original quote ~ $500. Told them to start work, they call and find more problems...new total $1000! Didn't have them do all, had another group check, and guess what, I didn't NEED THE WORK DONE.
I'll never go back. Seems like everything has to cost $1000 when I stop by (power steering hose, etc.). RIP-OFF!!!!!!
