Review content:
I visited Emergent Care just the other day. I had just gotten over a stomach virus and fever. The reason I came in was to have my throat checked out. It was inflamed, and as I later found out by second opinion, due to sinus drainage.
The receptionist was fairly nice, as was the nurse that came into to check my blood pressure, heat rate, etc. I'm not sure who the next person was, I assumed she was the doctor, in unprofessional dress (sweatpants and a t-shirt). She checked out my ear and my throat as I tried to tell her my symptoms.
She jumped right in to tell me that I had a throat abscess and I needed to go to the ER in the next day or so or I would die due to my throat closing shut. She said she had the same thing when she was 17 and she was an ""expert"".
I will NEVER go here again. This isn't the first time I've gotten a misdiagnosis from the people here, but it will definitely be the last!
