When I began the search for the perfect ring for my girlfriend I started by doing research on the internet. After about 3 months of research I decided it was time to start looking and visited several diamond stores. Most of the stores were larger and the employs really did not know details about diamonds. When I would ask for specific info they seemed confused. Then I went to see Jay and he blew me away. The first thing he did was sit down with me and do a little teaching session about all the specifics of diamonds. I was very impressed because he covered everything that the larger stores try to hide from you. He discussed the cut, color, and clarity. He has a microscope in his office so you can look at every detail of the diamond. He also custom makes the ring for you which is great because then there will not be any other rings exactly like the one you get.
