Review content:
I am taking my car to Firestone to get serviced and for inspection purposes! I met Brandon, the Service Advisor, after I went to a franchise tire store close to the Jiffy Lube that failed the car on various grounds; 1) alleging the brake pads were worn (quoting $189 for new pads and installation), 2) bad wipers, and 3) a loose battery. First, one wiper somehow was loose nd it just had to be put in place! How could they have missed that ... and barely used. I went for a second opinion and they said the pads were fine!! I returned to the original source and asked for the Highway Patrol to make the decision, they then said it was not that the pad was worn, the problem was that the pads were old and starting to crumble. I went for a third opinion, at Firestone. Brandon explained things and suggested a change was in order and quoted me $139. That is a competitive price, rather than a ""gotcha price"". The work was done well. I returned to the other franchise and they remarked that I should have come a day earlier because the highway patrol was around; they had my tel number and never bothered to call to say ""let's see what UT HPatrol thinks"". I will not step foot in that other franchise ever; I could say more. The point is that Firestone came in and explained and delivered great customer service at a competitive price! I recommend Brandon and his team. This is the second time they have delivered. So get your car inspected there, they will educate you (not mock you), as well as your tires and regular service.
