I am no stranger when it comes to work of Plastic Surgery and the world of Anesthesia. I started getting work done at a very young age and I am 31 now and finally feel like more like myself than I have felt in years. I am also a perfectionist so I would go to Dr's that people looked up to as some of Americas Top Plastic Surgeons and for some reason things always went wrong for me. I was over injected with fat in areas of my face that made me look like I had hollow eyes and the biggest cheeks in the world. I would run from cameras because I couldn't recognize myself anymore. I also had no luck in the breast implant department either; I had some rippling in one implant and one breast was higher than the other. I would have given anything to turn back time but lets face it that was not going to happen so instead I called in for a new line of credit and set out to regain my confidence.
I met Dr. Shafer after numerous other consults and I immediately felt incredibly comfortable with him. He saw what others said I should just leave alone or said that they couldn't fix because it would make it worse. We did some facial liposuction to areas of my face that made me look like a chipmunk and he filled in some hollow areas of my face with some new fat grafts to smooth out the irregularities and contours; and for my breasts he used a material called strattice to help with the rippling and we put in some new implants and they are perfect.
Everything that he did came out great and I am really lucky to have found him. This is my first time ever writing a review but I felt compelled to let the world know what a wonderful Dr. he is.
