I used today's Groupon to get two rooms cleaned for $49. While on the phone scheduling my appt it came to light that this deal only applies to rooms with wall-to-wall carpet, not area rugs. We only have one room with wall-to-wall carpet (and a few area rugs in others) so The Steam Team generously offered to clean and Scotch Guard the wall-to-wall carpet since we didn't have a second wall-to-wall carpet to clean. Also, they were able to come out today and had no problem accepting the Groupon even though it technically does not activate until tomorrow. Cool.
Mario, their Senior Cleaning Specialist, arrived well within the quoted time frame. He was friendly, professional, and respectful. Within seconds I could tell that he knew his job well. I showed Mario my area rugs because I wanted a quote on how much it would cost to get a few spots out. Once Mario saw how small (and inexpensive) the rugs were, he said he would lump them into the Groupon and just charge me a nominal fee to scotch guard the wall-to-wall carpet. Even better.
The entire process didn't take very long and the wall-to-wall carpet looks brand new. Mario took care to advise me on how long it would take for the carpet to dry. The cleaning solution is pleasantly scented but not overpoweringly so. Overall an excellent experience.
Will I use them again? In a heartbeat! I've been looking for a competent carpet cleaning company and I'm happy to report that I've found one.
