I really try to bend over backwards to use local businesses, but it appears to give these guys pain to help you (and take your money). I asked if they wanted to mount an airhorn on my bike once: they said they didn't feel like it ! (crazy stuff). It's like you're putting them out by asking to buy something from them - their reason for having a shop. The prices are high, the service is low. Why go here? (except there aren't many shops in S. Austin). People who are saying their service is good 1) haven't been to the shop or 2) are their buddies or both.
