Review content:
My daughter purchased a dress from Amelishan and waited the usual amount of time for it to come in. When it came in, the organza in the back of the dress was all bunched up on my daughters hip. It looked terrible, the staff assured us that it was no problem, it would all be taken care of when she came in for her alterations. Four months before the wedding was the alterations appt., when we mentioned the problem to the alteration lady, she said ""there's nothing I can do about that , that's how the dress was made, besides when your going down the isle, everyone will be looking at your face, not the dress"" WHAT!!!!!! That's the first thing everyone looks at. She could see I was upset and to humor me she popped off one of the buttons and says ""now, what do you want me to do."" I'm not a confrontational person, upset and unsure what to do, we left the store after the fitting. My daughter and I talked about it and decided to make an appt. with Stone Manor Bridal in Cedarburg. They were wonderfully accommadating. We were able to purchase a beautiful dress in time for the wedding. After this purchase, we went back to Amelishan and picked up the dress. We are now stuck with a horrible dress that I would never sell to another bride, not to mention, we're out the $100 alteration deposit. Amelishan should of sent that dress back for repair or replacement when it came in. I know they would of charged us to fix that dress. They made their money, they don't care. Live and Learn......
