I'm a little paranoid about not getting a good deal, so I looked online a lot (ebay, craigslist, etc.) and went to 10 to 12 dealerships. A few dealerships ruled themselves out because they'd bring in one of those annoying ""closers"" to close the deal and I'd just be out of there. It was a pain driving all over the metroplex (I live in Mesquite), but I ended up buying my Audi from European Motors because they had the best price for the car I wanted. I took it to a mechanic and it was completely clean. The guy I worked with was very respectful and knew his stuff.
Pros: price, knowlegeable sales people
Cons: a little far from my place in mesquite
