I have taken my car to this particular Meineke probably 5 or 6 times for oil changes. About 6 months ago they told me while I was in there for an oil change that some part in my rear axle needed something done to it or my wheel would fall off. I declined the service. A few weeks later I had a mechanic friend of mine check out my car and he said there were no problems. About two weeks ago I took my car in and the technician told me my transmission fluid was burnt up. I knew this was impossible. I took the car to a reputable service station to have my car checked out completely. I specifically mentioned I wanted the fluids checked and mentioned the transmission fluid. I went back for my car and it was given a clean bill of health. I asked if they checked the transmission fluid and they said yes, it was fine.
