LJC is a farce. Dr. Rose is more interested in the money and notoriety than in helping people. She is rarely available and has barely trained staff running the place. This includes family members who really don't want to be there and are rude to the residents. She advertises treating co-occuring diagnosis' but there is no psychiatrist available.....it is a skeleton of a rehab...made to look like things are happening but they are really not. Some 12 step meetings are farmed out to the community and residents are told to say they are alcoholics to fit into an AA meeting. Residents who are paying cash are given preferential treatment over insurance residents. It's very sad....some people have been there for months...lounging by the pool and not doing much else. The schedule listed online is laughable. It is never followed. Go somewhere else where treatment is actually given.
