NEVER RENT FROM THIS STORAGE PLACE. I have several reasons why you should never rent from this storage facility. First, if you care about customer service, and/or being treated right then be aware you will not get that here. The OLD woman who manages it (the owner evidentially lives in Canada, and clearly does not want to or care to monitor how she is doing) was so rude to both me and my husband, she talked down to me, like I was completely stupid and did the same to my husband. Second, we live across country in PA and when we decided we wanted to cancel they charged us $10 to CUT THE LOCK FOR US. There was no way for us to FLY there and cut it off ourselves and they wouldn't just practice good service and do it for us, we have never been late on a payment and still they wouldn't do it for us as a courtesy service. Third, they completely scammed us and made us pay a full months rent when we called to cancel on the 11th of the month. She told me there was nothing she could do about it, it was company policy, I even figured out the pro-rated amount FOR her and she said no, and THEN let me know if I didn't pay what she said I had to pay right then and there, then she just wouldn't send the cancellation and I would continue to have possession of the storage unit and have to keep paying. I asked to talk to the owner and that is when I learned he lives in Canada. She continued to try to explain herself and why it wasn't pro-rated to the point where she had me completely confused, not surprised I'm sure that was her goal. So in conclusion, I have never been treated so poorly and scammed so badly then I did today with Pantec Mini-Storage.
