Review content:
I offerred to make a monthly payment and they would not take my money unless I payed more than what I could afford. They were completely unwilling to work with me. Since they wouldn't accept my payment they sent my account to a lawyer. It has taken me 3 hours of investigation and eventually I had to call the hospital where my initial debt resides. The hospital called First for me directly .. finally someone from First called me and gave me the info. for the lawyer. From my experience, no one on the First staff knew how to arrange a payment plan in a courteous way. The first person I talked to YELLED at me about not being able to pay them more money. The staff are not adequately trained! Call several times and you will get a different story EVERY time on what you should do. They will leave you in the dark and transfer your case to a lawyer just so they can make more money off you.
