Review content:
We went here on the recommendations of some friends. It was packed, it being Saturday night, but w/reservations were seated immediately. The hostess walked us through the kitchen enroute to our table, saying they like to show it to guests. We were seated in one of many small rooms with really strange decor. I was thrown that there were paper placemats and a big menu on the wall... a very casual atmosphere (nothing wrong with that... I was just surprised). The service was slow--yet we felt rushed--and though some of the food (salad) was good, most was not impressive (parmesan dish w/practically no cheese; diced tomatoes in all the dishes rather than tomato sauce). Our waiter could have been better, though the manager and chef were quite nice and friendly. I see why people like the restaurant; the service was just off and the food isn't up my alley.
Pros: Quick Seating, Clean/Sanitary, Portion Size
Cons: Unimpressive Service, Okay Food, Freaky Decor
