If I'm not wandering around in foodie stores like Sur le Table a few doors down...I'm wandering the bookstores. When I go mall shopping with friends...they actually have to pull me away from the bookstores. I can't help it if I'd rather peruse the aisles of literature (or romance novels) rather than racks and racks of clothes that I'm not going to buy or can't wear. Barnes & Noble in Old Town Pasadena is definitely a shopping destination for me. They have a very good children section and I always find something for my nieces here. I'm the weird aunt that never buys toys. I buy books...and they love it...whether they know it or not.
