Review content:
My husband and I ate here for lunch after the San Antonio marathon, and especially loved the outdoor patio. Lots of nice landscaping and fountains, and the weather was great! On a side note, people were letting their kids play in the fountain and run around, which was relatively annoying, so I wish the restaurant manager had said something to them, but I don't know how well that would have gone over. (One of the kids accidentally threw a coin toward the fountain that ended up hitting a baby in the face!!!) Anyway, our server was great -- very personable and attentive, even brought over an extra bowl of queso on the house (which was delicious, by the way!). The enchiladas and tamales were also quite good, although not the best Mexican I've ever had. Overall, we loved the ambience and service, and the food was pretty good, too! Pros: Ambience (great patio!), service, & food. Cons: Children playing recklessly around dining tables.
