I have/had been going to Alpharetta Internal Medicine for more than ten years, and this morning when I went for an appointment I had made at least two weeks ago, I was told I was not in their system, and they could not see me today. They were going to do the blood work (since I had to be fasting), then reschedule the appointment. I had planned to get a renewal of my prescription medicine at today's appointment, but when I asked about it, I was told they couldn't do that since I am now a "new" patient, since I'm no longer in their system. The office staff was not at all professional. I've seen a LOT of turnover in the office staff over the years, and it just gets worse each time. I am very unhappy with my experience and after TEN years of going there, I've decided it's time to find a new doctor. I would not recommend this office to anyone.
