What happened to me was the EXACT same thing that happened to the earlier reviewer. They took my car in for a "free" diagnostic and held it hostage until I paid them $600 in CASH. They would not accept credit cards for this fee. I have heard from other complaint sites online that AAMCO does this so you cannot dispute the charge with your credit card company. A friend of mine who owns a business in Buda just saw in a local newsletter that AAMCO San Marcos had its BB membership revoked due to "several unanswered complaints." The owner of this business (I can't give his name because the CitySearch rules don't allow it) also owns an AAMCO in New Braunfels that has complaints all over the internet against it. RUN, don't walk, away from this place!
