Review content:
They may rent you a unit with a washer full of mold that you will have to cure with lemon juice yourself, even after complaining. They will definitely not make sure your appliances work well or are energy efficient, especially the heaters which cost a fortune in the winter because of the horribly insulated units. There are no sidewalks and people drive like crazy so going anywhere on foot is a hazard. They will not be available at the office, close early, or not have anyone to help you, all the time without any good reason. They will not hire contractors that will do good work, so your unit will be full of aesthetic problems. They will not cleanup trash left by other tenants that moved out in the trees, for months. They will not deal with the ice or snow problems in a responsible way, even if it prevents you from leaving your home for weeks and even if they post "policies" that say they will. They will say they will shovel your garage out after the parking lot scraping pushes 3 feet of snow up in front of it, but won't (and then you may have to spend two hours using an ice cooler to do it yourself). They will not put up any indication that a hill is covered in ice and cannot be navigated well, even though you can't see it around a blind corner. In fact, they will stand at the top of the hill and not even motion for you to stop as you drive towards an accident that you can't see. They will definitely not do anything about the thousands of dollars of damage done to your car after another tenant comes down the hill and smashes into it, even if they could have prevented it form happening. When the heater is malfunctioning in you infant sons room causing the wall to become extremely hot, the will come and look at it and tell you nothing is wrong and that it's normal. They might eventually come fix it after you complain several times and the wall starts to turn black because of the faulty thermostat.
