Went to this place thinking the poor reviews were people who didn't like "different" or "authentic" based on other reviews. Well... if school cafeteria style frozen carrots/peas in MULTIPLE dishes is what's authentic, I must be sorely mistaken in my views on authenticity. Food wasn't horrible, but definitely was not great, or even good. General's chicken not only tastes different than general (excuse the pun) General Tso's chicken, it doesn't taste like much at all. Bland brown sauce saved only by good blend of fresh broccoli, dried peppers, etc. Every other dish, though (soups, house specialties like their spicy shrimp) is full of peas and carrot chunks right out of a bag of frozen vegetable mix. Sauces are overly sweet or bland (one shrimp dish was somewhat spicy). Though a big selection on the menu (including Pad Thai, cocktails made with Sake, etc.), wouldn't recommend too much. Pros: Good, friendly service. Nice environment. Cons: ...Food.
