We just had laminate completed in our house by Flooring World and it was flawless-I really did my research before I selected who I chose to buy from, I shopped price, warranty and even the (home depots&Loews)Flooring World had by far all of the above&great warranties: I have 90 days to make absoluetly sure my wife likes everything, color(whatever else wives go on&on about) and a lifetime installation warranty and their prices were equal to DIY pricing. I considered going to Georgia to pick-up the material& having a local contractor install it, but most of these contractors have little or NO warranties. Can you believe that if my wives friends talk her into hating the floor for any reason Flooring World will do the take up and re-install FREE! And tho our laminate install was perfect we did have 1 slight problem with the carpet; the guy forgot to tack down one area-Flooring World came out immediately tho and fixed it, whats really cool about the carpet, is that not only are the warranties the same as on the laminate but it also has a 25yr stain warranty; which covers mustard, wine, cat, etc. if anything stains the carpet they'll replace it for 25 yrs! I spent allot of money; but Flooring world was equal to the pricing where I would buy material and then get an installer, However they were much less than the big name flooring stores around Houston. I live clear across Houston but it was worth the drive to get those great warranties for no additional charges.
