I have been going to China Palace since I was a little kid with my parents. I love the Chinese food, and this was actually the first place that I ever tried sushi. Now, I eat sushi all the time and love the Tataki Salad. Before the remodel, I didn't really like the look as it felt old and worn down with teal colors. But I would always come because I love the food. Now it looks awesome!!! Looks very modern and extremely spacious and they have the exact same dishes with a few new ones ( I haven't tried them yet, I never get tired of the Tataki Salad). It's extremely modern now (thank god there is no more teal in the restaurant). I'm not sure what diznykd is talking about because the new look is anything but a "crappy beer bar" (???). It's so new and feels so clean. To each his own I guess? To me, the sushi here is by far the best around the area. Definitely try the Tataki Salad, or Kamikaze Roll. These 2 are definitely my favorites and in close second is the sunset roll. And for chinese, we always get an order of mu shu (mushu 1 word or 2 words?) chicken. I live like 5 minutes away, and I always tell myself I'm going to get something else, but I just love these dishes too much I guess...
