Review content:
Houk used to be professional & customer oriented. However, now their bottom line is getting the money. Forget the customer. Call for a summer maintenance check & you will wait at least a month & even then, you cannot trust the technician will come out. Houk never gives the customer a reminder call either; so if they show up & you're not home, you have to wait another month for them to come out again. Very unprofessional. If your a/c has an issue before that check, Houk will charge you the full price, even though their turn-around time is unacceptable. I tried to call the shop & talked to a "Richard" who was about as rude as anyone could be. No regard for the customer. And, it's worse if you're a woman; you will be talked down to & treated like you're an idiot & "little-ladied". If you do get a technician out, the bottom line is speed over quality. I think they want to fit in as many calls as possible rather than make sure each call ends with a happy customer. Pass Houk by the next time you need a/c work. Find anyone else.
