Review content:
I am sharing my experience of the first and the last visit to this restaurant. We wanted to try some Indian "authentic" food so we were going through some books on Portland and Swagat was mentioned quite many times, so we decided to go there. As we entered things looked good, the first turnoff--the waiter poured water not on the glass but on the table. Its so irritating. Then this waitress comes in. She was behaving as if she was forced to work there. She was always in a hurry to throw us out of the restaurant. She bought food, and dropped the "sambhar" on the table --second turn off. And lastly before we finished, she asked us if we wanted a box. Couldnt she wait for us to ask? Now coming to food: This place serves NO authentic food. The dosa was sad and by the way when we asked the waitress about the Hyd. Biryani she said --it was not good, many customers complain, and apparently Swagat is run by AP folks. Good to know that right? The place is no good. The Bombay Chat on the streets servces better and fresh food.
