NW Building Supply was actually recommended to us for granite countertops. We were assigned a salesperson who wouldn't respond to phone calls or emails promptly. After trying for two weeks, she did respond with a nasty email informing us that she was waiting on US. I promptly forwarded her our last email correspondence when WE asked HER for a price quote in writing, then I let her know we would like to work with someone else. We were assigned another salesperson who seemed much more interested in our business. After assuring us she would "walk us through" the process, as soon as she got the 80% payment they require upfront, we again experienced the same problems we had in the beginning. Finally we got the conutertops installed (and the workmanship seems good). We also had a new backsplash installed, but the quality is questionable--drywall that was pulled out was not replaced for new tiles. After the tiles set, when we put the outlet covers back on, a tile broke. We called and expressed our concern for the quality of workmanship only to be told they have a 1-year warranty on their products, so each time a tile breaks they will replace it...for a year...and with us having to rearrange our schedule, take time off work, etc. I would NOT recommend them for granite countertops, kithcen backsplash, or anything else for that matter!
