We had my counter tops and bathroom vanities done over three years ago. They are awesome! Installers were professional and the jobs went in without any trouble.\r Now we are looking to update our flooring and backsplashes.\r I would highly recommend them if you are looking to update anything in your kitchen or bathrooms. more

We have beautiful granite countertops installed very professionally by Northwest Building Supply.. They wanted to make sure we were happy customers and we are. Next step will be having new flooring installed by them. more

Our experience with Northwest Builders Supply has been excellent. We are more than pleased with the products they offered and their installation. The complete remodel of our kitchen required a fair amount of demolition, and we did not experience any damage to any existing structures. The installation of the cabinets and flooring was complicated by the inevitable shifting of our 33 year old house. They handled this like real professionals making adjustments where needed to make sure the cabinets were level. They had their work cut out for them, and it looks incredible. One of our favorite aspects of our fabulous new kitchen is our tumbled travertine back splash. Northwest Builders Supply assured us it would look great against the black granite and white cabinets. They were right! It looks absolutely fantastic, and our visitors are constantly commenting on how wonderful it looks. Although there were a couple of problems with a few pieces of the cabinetry during delivery (ie, broken panel), Northwest Builders Supply made sure to remedy the problem promptly. We love showing off all the unique aspects of our Kraftmaid cabinets. Our sales rep, Dennis Burns, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire project. He was knowledgeable about the products offered, extended guidance when needed, and even came to the site to help with the install. You could tell he was interested in providing an end product that would speak well of his company. Northwest Builders Supply was also very sensitive to our scheduling needs. My wife was in and out of the hospital numerous times during the install and there was never a problem if something needed to be rescheduled. Northwest Builders Supply recreated my wife's dream kitchen and that is something for which I can never thank them enough. more

Stay away from these people. NOTHING was done right the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time..Kitchen: Hand picked the granite and the layout of each cut & they scratched the best piece before it was even delivered. They tried to tell us it only needed to be waxed...They finally came out to wax it since we wouldn't pay until it was right & it wouldn't wax out..They replaced it with a marginal replacement piece. Another section was broken during installation. We had the back slash installed by another tile person. Office: They convinced us to put down "engineered" wood floor telling us it wouldn't scratch or buckle for @ least 20 years. We are already looking for a replacement because it did both & the manufacture AND NWBS say they never said it was resistant. Bathroom: Another total disaster, shower tile put in crooked the 1st time. Shower wall had to be moved TWICE to make room for pre-measured space for the tub. Heating element in the tile floor was replaced THREE times & still has cold spots in the middle of the floor...Ran them off for good here & found an independent to finish the tile & the built-in vanity. more

Northwest Building Supply has been airing a new commercial inviting the public to visit their new showroom to see their selection of doors and granite countertops. How misleading! First they only have about 5 or 6 doors on display, but more frustrating is the way I was treated. I dropped by one afternoon to browse; I do have a master bath remodel looming but didn't feel the need to share that information, instead asking if I could browse. Several employees made comments to each other until finally one employee came to "chaperone" me. Again, I explained that I wanted to browse thru the showroom but they obviously do NOT want the general public in the store. Maybe I should have brought my contractor??? I will not be using Northwest Building Supply for any of my future remodeling projects. more

I had a terrible experience when choosing Norwest to replace my kitchen countertops. They have you sign a form stating they are not responsible for backsplash damage when installing the countertop. I"am thinking OK, If they crack or break a tile or 2 during installation I would understand. I have a few extra tiles in the garage. You can imagine how suprised I was when I came home from work and seen the countertops were installed but, every 1st layer of my backsplash tile was removed with with holes in the sheetrock. Futhermore, instead of lifting my oven, they dragged it over my wood floor scratching the floor permanently. When I asked my 18yr old son what happened, he said they needed to remove the 1st layer of tile to install the countertops and if he would OK them to do so. My son told them it would be OK if they fixed the tile back like it was and they said they would. I"am thinking ok they will be back in a couple of days to fix the damage. I didn"t here from them for days so I called them. Tell told they were not responsible for the damage to the tile of the floor and would not fix the damage. I had to hire 2 contractors to fix the damage at 1400 dollars cost to me . Now they are suing me for the balance I owe them and I hired a lawer to counter sue them in district court for there damage to my home. I suggest that you avoid Nortwest building supply at all cost less you experience what happen to me. steve faulk more

OK here it goes-I said I would name names if my granite people would not make good on their sale. NORTHWEST BUILDERS SUPPLY will not do you right, their sales people are not held to professional standards and you will pay 80% up front. I ordered black and I got brown-I will tell everyone I know and I am asking you help keep others from making the same mistake-dont use NORTHWEST BUILDERS SUPPLY!!!!!!!!!! more

Northwest had the best selection by far than anyone else in the area. The salesman and installers were very professional and helped us build our dream kitchen. We were emailed a layout of our granite counter tops, which helped tremendously! We could tell exactly where all the veins in the counter top would be! AWESOME. The job was completed on schedule and they cleaned up when the job was done. HIGHLY Recommend! Next comes the bathrooms. :0) more

I had granite countertops put in my kitchen and all three bathrooms. I LOVE IT!! Northwest helped me design my kitchen with a beautiful stone that goes great with my cabinets. My bathrooms each have a different exotic stone that gave such personality. I was able to view my granite template via computer simulation. That was pretty cool. Their staff was friendly, professional and made my remodel of home a very positive experience. I would highly recommend them!! more

Second time I have used them. First time was great second , not so. Installer messed up kitchen didn't bother apologizing. Took 2 months for company to finally respond. NOT apologetic didn't really care I was unhappy. Installer UNPROFESSIONAL. Company backed installer didn't care about customer. Thought the company would have made better attempt to make things right. Beware......... Pros: Great Granite selection Cons: Rude, hard to deal with bad business dealings more

I have used Northwest Buiding Supply for granite in two homes. I have been extremely pleased with the granite, the sales people, the installers and all of the follow-up! I recommend Northwest Building Supply to all of my friends! Pros: Jim in granite; lots of granite to pick from; good prices more

NW Building Supply was actually recommended to us for granite countertops. We were assigned a salesperson who wouldn't respond to phone calls or emails promptly. After trying for two weeks, she did respond with a nasty email informing us that she was waiting on US. I promptly forwarded her our last email correspondence when WE asked HER for a price quote in writing, then I let her know we would like to work with someone else. We were assigned another salesperson who seemed much more interested in our business. After assuring us she would "walk us through" the process, as soon as she got the 80% payment they require upfront, we again experienced the same problems we had in the beginning. Finally we got the conutertops installed (and the workmanship seems good). We also had a new backsplash installed, but the quality is questionable--drywall that was pulled out was not replaced for new tiles. After the tiles set, when we put the outlet covers back on, a tile broke. We called and expressed our concern for the quality of workmanship only to be told they have a 1-year warranty on their products, so each time a tile breaks they will replace it...for a year...and with us having to rearrange our schedule, take time off work, etc. I would NOT recommend them for granite countertops, kithcen backsplash, or anything else for that matter! Pros: good selection of granite Cons: hard to work with, poor service more
