I went in and got an written estimate from Lane, the manager or owner. She gave me a quote of approx $380 basic or $525 upgrade pattern for a shower door installed. After thinking it over, I went back to order it. A worker came and measured my shower area. He said it was shorter then the standard shower width by about 3 inches. He said Lane would have to call with a new price, since it wasn't a standard width (but the height was fine) Lane took 2 days to call back, and informed me that the price more than doubled!!!!..either $783 basic or $1088 for the upgrade!!! Then she said she would give me a $50 break off of those prices. I am a photographer, and if a client orders a custom frame or print, the price DOES NOT DOUBLE. That is INSANE!! I can understand it might change the price, but from $ 380 to $783??? Give me a break.
