Dick's can take advantage of you if they think you don't know a fair price and show up at their store. They do not have a price list so that you can figure out the cost based on square footage. Also, sometimes they do not have things ready at the agreed time, AND don't call you to warn that it's not ready. more

ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL 7/23/2010

I have had several new shower enclosures placed in my home recently. Lane Parks, the owner came out and measured and then gave me a call when they were ready to be installed. Her group came out and installed the enclosures and I came home to new look in both bathrooms. I had clear glass before, but I put in "rain" and my sons love the better privacy. There was no mess. It was great!! By the way, I had bronze finish in the quest bathroom, a little more expensive, but so worth it. Pros: On time, professional, no mess. Cons: none more

Great Service 1/26/2010

Dick's Rancho Glass really helped me out in my recent time of need. I woke up the other morning to find the window of my car smashed in. I called them that same morning to ask what to do. They had me bring my car in that same day and it was ready to go within an hour! Which was great, especially with all the rain we have been experiencing in sacramento lately. I was very pleased with the service i recieved and the staff was very friendly! I will definitely use them again in the future! Pros: Friendly, Professional, Quick more

A Rip off! 5/27/2009

I went in and got an written estimate from Lane, the manager or owner. She gave me a quote of approx $380 basic or $525 upgrade pattern for a shower door installed. After thinking it over, I went back to order it. A worker came and measured my shower area. He said it was shorter then the standard shower width by about 3 inches. He said Lane would have to call with a new price, since it wasn't a standard width (but the height was fine) Lane took 2 days to call back, and informed me that the price more than doubled!!!!..either $783 basic or $1088 for the upgrade!!! Then she said she would give me a $50 break off of those prices. I am a photographer, and if a client orders a custom frame or print, the price DOES NOT DOUBLE. That is INSANE!! I can understand it might change the price, but from $ 380 to $783??? Give me a break. Cons: bait and switch tactics more

I had a bad experience with Dickz Rancho Glass and was originally posting my experience and frustration. As I was writing this review, they called to offer a full refund. While I still do not recommend doing business with them, I decided not to post my original post. I will say it took the threat of small claims court to get their attention.
