I would like to express my feelings about a recent visit to Friedman's appliance store, the sales people knew nothing about the ranges or appliances they were selling, Mine was finally delivered, and vented so much hot air into the kitchen that I was afraid it would start a fire, the back was so hot that it would burn anyone touching it. I contacted the store they called the service department, it was 4 days before they could come out and check the range, they scheduled a time for the AM, then never showed up and said I was wrong, it was for the PM. I had to leave for an appt. so they didn't come at all. Called PGE to check the range and outlets. Used the range for the first time 2 weeks after it was delivered, I was with out a range for 3 weeks, Every time I use the oven it sets off the smoke alarm. NO Customer Service Provided by this store. I bought a range with an adjustable shelf, it was delivered with a regular shelf, and no broiler pan. The sales person didn't tell me it was an option. To date I have waited over 6 weeks and no adjustable shelf has arrived, even though the Sales Person said it would be ordered immediately and shipped to my home. This was an experience that I hope never to have again, I have more kitchen appliances to purchase but definitely won't go back there. Maybe they should spend some time and money educating their staff on follow-up and customer service instead of building a larger store.
