Shields offered a "deep clean" service that cost multiples of per-hour rates from a typical cleaning service. The estimator came out and promises great things to come. But once the cleaning "pros" arrived, they were shocked at their employer send only two people for the job. Their idea of deep clean and mine were very far apart -- they did less than your average bi-weekly cleaner would do in 2-3 hours. Stove stain? They claimed it was not possible to remove until I showed them it required 15 seconds of scrubbing. Shields is a great way to overpay for a uninterested, mediocre subcontracted part-time cleaner. We had another company come out two days later because we were so disappointed. Carefully read any contract you sign with them, as the pros may claim "it's not specifically listed that I have to clean that." Spec out exactly what you want in complete detail if your foolish enough to use them.
