I was a member of The Rush for about two years. I was actually there before the first real gym opened. It was just one small room near Toy's R Us. I agree that The Rush has nice equipment, but it's not for me. I have often seen many people there who seem to be there just to "look" around at others, not really to work out. I hated that the management changed the fees around all the time and people were getting different deals all over the place. I like a place that has a set fee schedule. The Rush did not seem family oriented to me. I took my six year old neice with me once. She needed to use the restroom before the child care area opened. She was not allowed to go into the women's lockeroom with me. Apparently it's adults only. This struck me as odd. I also didn't like that there was no time for families to enjoy the indoor pool area. The Rush has nice equipment and convenient hours, but it's not the kind of atmosphere I enjoy.
