I just had my 1st experience with Studio Gaven and can say it is generally over-priced and over-rated. I have had my naturally curly hair cut in some of the best salons across the South and one really posh one in Spain. No matter the cost, the best ones make you feel as if you are getting your money's worth. I am sorry to say this is not the case at Studio Gaven. I wanted something special for my 30th High School Reunion and so decided to splurge. I wanted some highlights and a cut. I got a few foils on the top and barely a trim - again just on top. I sat under the hood dryer for 10 minutes while the stylist worked on someone else, then I was done. Where the $200 total bill came from is anybody's guess. I have written an email to the salon telling them I was disappointed and - no response.
Pros: I can say I went there?????
Cons: Very over priced
