I have been going to studio Gaven for well over a year now and was surprised to find that he had "split off" part of his staff to a new location where Dolce Salon was formerly housed. The new place is called The Studio. Of course my stylist was moved to The Studio so I went because I love the way Ashley does my hair! But I hated The Studio. I think it is billed as a lower priced Salon hoping to get clients from Regis and places like that. Good luck with that because you MIGHT get a few Regis customrs but you are probably going to lose your Studio Gaven faithful! The Studio is so small and cramped that you are almost sitting on top of the stylist next to you! It is also very loud. You can hear every word that is said, every consultation,every phone call. While this salon is billed as a lower priced salon than Studio Gaven that was not reflected in the price I paid!! I got the exact same servces that I have always gotten at Studio Gaven and my bill was $10 more! I am very disappointed in this change and am hoping that Gaven sees the err in his ways and moves them back to Studio Gaven. Or just move Ashley back to Studio Gaven! The Studio to me is more like Great Clips! Not at all what I expect from something Studio Gaven would EVER do!! Just a very upset, disappointed, and LOYAL Studio Gaven customer!!
