Businiess name:  Lanza's Restaurant

Review content:
Lanza's does not accept reservations and our party of 8 had to wait one-and-a-half hours to be seated. We went during the off-season in Lake Tahoe, but this place is very popular with the locals. One gentleman also waiting has been dining there for 35 years. His favorite dish was the lasagna; how I wish I'd tried the lasagna! After our group was finally seated, our hostess was friendly. And the food? Well, we were not impressed with anything other than the salad and the garlic cheese bread appetizer. The pasta dishes ordered were bland and lacking fresh flavor. The pizza touted as thin and crispy was not actually that thin or crispy and also lacked flavor. And whatever you do, do not order Joe's vegetarian pasta special. Fortunately, this restaurant was not so pricey. We left wishing we had just had the crisp salad and garlic cheese bread only. We did not try dessert.
