AS good as it GET! Just had LASIK this morning by Dr. Gelender. It was amazing. Very thorough assessment, explanation of risks and what to expect pre and post op, and narrative through entire procedure. The nurse even held my hand through it and told me how good I was doing. They kept me calm throughout. It was easy, quick, and painless. Afterward, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND take some ibuprofen for when the drops wear off and definitely sleep the first 4-6 hours so you can bypass the majority of discomfort. Then, it's all amazing. You can see and it feels like a miracle. I am still in awe! My own optometrist referred me here because it is the only place he will go for LASIK. =) Remember, RISK/BENEFIT analysis are key. I have had no negatives, but those who did would have had those same problems anywhere and they were given all the risks before choosing to proceed. Good luck and pick Cornea Associates of Texas. (No, I don't work there...I just am an incredibly satisfied customer after only 14 hours!)
