Review content:
It is great that they have separate dog and cat entrances. Dr. Moore and Dr. Brooks are both very good doctors. But, after I've seen Dr. Brooks, my bill is always very high. She whisks the cat away for "tests" and $300 later, my cat comes out the same and I'm $300 poorer. Dr. Moore is very practical. She gives me my options and lets me decide. I always feel like she empathizes with me, the owner of 3 cats. Dr. Brooks generally gives me one, very expensive option and she's all business. She may be a great Dr. but she spends more time with my credit card than with my cat. It is best to be informed about what you need and what you can afford before you take the animal in. Bay Cities does a senior hemo panel including urinalysis for much less. If you're going to Mar Vista, go on a day when Dr. Moore is in.
Pros: Decent prices for vaccines, rescue work and Dr. Moore is great
Cons: Sometimes mis-diagnose and Dr. Brooks is all business and looking to make money
