I can't understand some of the awful reviews Clubhouse has received. Every time I have gone there, the food has been excellent, as has the service. I can't say I've ordered many different things from the menu since when I go, I usually get the filet mignon, a side (usually spinach), sometimes the soup, a glass of wine. But, I've never been disappointed at all. I've gone to Peter Luger's, The Palm and other reputable steak houses in the city and I've always found Clubhouse to be the best. Of course, if you go to a steakhouse, you have to expect to pay more than a night out at Applebee's but I've never left disappointed in the meal/service or had any problems. I don't know about all the posters' comments about problems with discounts; it's a shame if there have been problems with that- just don't offer them then, or honor them appropriately- but I can't comment on that since that type of situation never happened to me. But I will always look forward to a night out at Clubhouse!
