My gas dryer stopped heating and the problem was a simple thermal fuse. On my way back from work i stopped at Kenwhirl appliance parts and bought one. It was $21.00, which i thought too steep for a simple fuse. Upon arriving home, i started calling around other places to determine if i was gouged.Sure enough, of all the 8 places i called, none quoted me a price as high as i paid at Kenwhirl. None were even close..They all ranged between$7.99 and $12.99 plus tax. That was my first experience with Kenwhirl and will be the last. I know i should've called around before, but i never thought that a simple thermal fuse which cost less than $5.00 Wholesale could be used by someone like Kenwhirl to rip people off. I have advised all my friends and co-workers to avoid this establishment , and i find it necessary to post this review to alert innocent consumers to retailers- such as this one- who shamelessly rob people and take advantage of them.
