I have visited the Aveda Institute twice since moving to the Chapel Hill area. My first service was the Caribbean body therapy, both the student and the service was wonderful (and the hour was just $50!). On my next visit, I got a pedicure. I had a new student this time, and she was so nice, but definitely not great at the actual service. There was very little massaging involved even though this was part of the service description. I was definitely a little disappointed. Both times I have visited, I have had at least a 30 minute wait, but the prices have justified these small issues. And of course the Aveda products are a plus as well. I am returning for my third service in a few weeks.
Pros: Prices (you can't beat them), cleanliness, aveda products
Cons: Slow service, students can be hit or miss
