Review content:
I was not impressed with Libertyland. The park itself and the rides are very run-down. We received free tickets to the park from the summer reading club at the library, otherwise we would not have ventured to this park.
You will find Libertyland adjacent to the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Libertyland is home to the Zippin Pippin, one of the oldest all-wood roller coasters still in operation in the United States, also happened to be one of Elvis Presleys' favorite roller coaster. The park is on a seasonal schedule, opens in the spring and shuts down in the fall however, I learned on the local news tonight that Libertyland may not re-open in the spring of 2006 for financial reasons.
