The transmission fell out of my truck when I was driving down the road and, when I asked the tow-truck driver where I should take it, he recommended Cottman Transmission Greensboro. It turned out that the entire transmission needed to be rebuilt. When you are incurring very expensive car repair work, it is scary and hard to know who to trust. The mechanics at Cottman Greensboro made me feel comfortable right away. They were very gentle, counseling me and helping me get an inexpensive rental car that they brought to me. I felt that they really cared.
They did a fabulous job on the transmission. The truck drove better than it had before the transmission problem. I was very pleased with Cottman, so I went back a second time when my family had a problem with our 4-wheel drive. A piece of metal was making a strange noise, and I knew I could trust what the mechanics at Cottman told me about what the problem was. They work with such integrity, plus they are personable, approachable, and easy to be around. It is uncommon to find mechanics that are so warm and embracing. I wish they did general mechanic work as well!
Anybody within a reasonable driving distance of Cottman Transmission Greensboro should make the journey there for transmission work. They are the best: You can rely on them, they are timely, and their dedication is outstanding. They let you know upfront how much something will cost and they do not go over that price or charge you extra, hidden fees. It is definitely worth the drive.
