You know, I thought that most dealers were about the same. We purchased our last car through a different dealer here in town and had a great experience. Recently, I went with a friend to attempt to purchase a car at Vacaville Ford. Not only were the managers rude, but they didn't follow through on what they had originally promised! They were asking $12,000 OVER blue book for the car - we took the printout in with us and they came down a bit - but wouldn't even approach blue book on it. When we spoke to the manager, he basically said tough - they would rather the car stay on the lot! This "new" vehicle was already 2 model years old and they had to use a portable battery to start it (seems like they haven't had a lot of test driving), and they still had the 2004 sticker price on it. Once we got home, we spoke to 3 other people who all said they had poor service there and wouldn't go back. Bummer that they are the only game for Ford in Vacaville... we'll go elsewhere.
