We hired Chris to re-roof our garage. Chris' estimate was far more reasonable than many (I interviewed 8 other contractors) but most importantly, Chris clearly has a keener understanding of the underlying principles involved. He is thorough and left the area around the garage as it was upon his crew's arrival. Chris forgot the correct color of the drip edge we requested (he purchased silver, rather than white) but offered immediately to "make it right". He did so and returned some months after completion of the job when we informed him that we noticed leaking around the chimney. He returned and corrected the problem which was created by the PREVIOUS roofer; the roof he installed has had NO leaks whatsoever and looks great. I'm hiring him again to resolve a leak problem on the roof of our house. Chris is very busy and does sometimes take longer than is ideal to return calls but I've found that if I persist nicely, he is responsive eventually. Given his competitive pricing and superior workmanship, the delayed response is a minor inconvenience. Chris is willing to learn as he gains experience. He has earned four and a half stars from us but the site doesn't provide a half star option.
