I have had Dave resole many pairs of mountaineering boots over the years. All I can say is great work and old world prices. I once had him resole some flip flops that I took to the tropics and de-lamenated. I brought them back to him and he resoled them for free and said nothing can handle hot salt water for long. As to his personality. If you like mountains or boots or Seattle you may find you have a lot in common with him, do you want your boots fixed or do you want therapy? I personal really enjoy him and can easily imagine being sickened by the other reviewers that need a friend at the cobblers
