Spoke to the owner of Air Group. Air Group were the original installers of HVAC system for our new home.
Bob the owner said he would send somewhat out as a courtesy to execute a maintenance on the HVAC and find out why it wasn't woking. The repairmen told me there was an $85 charge for showing up or $300+ yearly maintenance due now if he wanted me to look at anything. The beginning of the shake down. I took option #1 at $85, contrary to what the owner had explained to me on the phone. The repair men flipped circuit breakers (which imply a system problem..which was never considered or remedied). Well while the repairman was wandering around and smoking cigarettes. The AC was working. Since I was paying $85 for someone to flip my breakers. I asked if he could check/maintain the 2nd unit. For the walk up stairs and checking the air filters? The repairmen came out to my backyard and shook me down for an additional $50 for all the time he spent!! Shiftless and not worth the stress of the B.S.
