When I first came to Gentle Dental I was scared to death. I had not been to the dentist in many years....too embarrassed to mention. When I called the Middle Island office, Barbara was so kind and reassuring. I explained about my fear and also embarrassment at the state of my mouth. She assured me that all would be fine and that the dentist would talk me through everything. When I arrived for my appointment I was scared to death. What I found was exactly what the name says...a very "gentle" dental experience. Dr. Williams and Arlene made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I came back the next week for sedation dentistry. All of the work that was needed..the cost of a small car was done in one pain free appointment. I was amazed at how good I felt the next day...eight hours of dental work and I still went to work the next day. I have been back for small procedures and cleanings and finally have a healthy mouth. Dr. Williams made coming to the dentist pain free and fear free. I thank all of the staff for always making me feel comfortable.
