First off Jim is my husband, but I love love love these shoes. This is my second pair. I also have a 3 strap pair which are nice but I came back for the 2 strap. They are more comfortable for me. I remodeled my house and put ceramic tile through out. It is easier to clean and looks nice. But it gave me back aches and I found that my back was tired after being on my feet for very long. I ordered my first pair of burkies because I thought they would help. And Help they did. I no longer have back aches from standing on the hard floor and my back doesn't get tired even when I am on my feet all day and these shoes are the reason why. I wear them every day in the summer without socks and every day in the winter with socks. I wear dress shoes to church or out but as soon as I get home out come my burkies and my feet immediately feel better. My posture is better and my feet look better. I have a high arch and it was taking a beating in my high priced tennis shoes that was suppose to be so supportive. Now my feet are back to better health then they had been since I was a teenager. I was afraid my arch was ruined and I was going to have problems and would have to live with it. But, Thank the Good Lord. I tell everyone get these shoes even if you have flat or I should say especially if you have flat feet. These will help you more then any foot doctor can.
