We started going to Hillsborough Veterinary clinic over 10 years ago. We were fostering a dog through Independent Animal Rescue, and the agency referred us to Dr. Mac to provide heartworm treatment for her. She had been disfigured on the nose through animal abuse and Dr. Mac repaired her nose as a courtesy, on top of the other expensive treatments he was providing. Since then we've been loyal customers and have worked primarily with Dr. Mac and Dr. Goss. The doctors are kind and compassionate toward their patients and owners. They don't recommend unnecessary treatment, but encourage owners to make responsible decisions. Their prices are fair and the medical care is top notch. The support staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and always treat us kindly. Over the years I have tried 4 veterinary practices in the triangle, and this one is by far the best. It has it all -- a kind and friendy small-town feel, high quality medical care, and reasonable treatment recommendations and prices.
